Very few thinkers in history have truly stood on the side of justice and truth. The role of a thinker is not merely to guide the ruling class, but to provide direction to society itself. Those who possess the courage to call wrong “wrong” and truth “truth” on the basis of history, logic, and reality are the ones who deserve to be called genuine intellectuals. Today, however, many so-called intellectuals have become loyal servants of power and, in many cases, tools in the hands of capitalists.
